LTL Shipments
Share a truck with other shipments — the most cost- and CO₂-efficient option when your load isn't time-critical.

What is less than truckload (LTL)?
LTL stands for less than truckload — one truck carries shipments from multiple shippers to multiple destinations. It's the right choice for smaller loads, typically up to 7,000 kg or 12 pallets, that aren't time-critical.
You only pay for the part of the truck your load occupies, usually measured in loading meters or cubic meters. Because the same truck consolidates multiple shipments, costs drop for everyone.
Around half of all trucks across Europe still drive partly empty. Cargors connects you directly with carriers looking to fill that space — which can save up to 40% versus traditional LTL networks.
When LTL is a good fit
Lower shipping costs
Carriers combine multiple smaller loads on one truck, sharing fuel, vehicles and drivers. The savings get passed on — and Cargors removes the broker markup on top.
Lower CO₂ per shipment
One truck running close to full beats several half-empty trucks. Combining shipments via LTL means fewer kilometers and fewer emissions per pallet.
More flexibility
When your volumes go up and down with the season or the week, you book just the pallets you need — no minimum truckload commitment.
When LTL isn't the right choice
Longer transit times
Because the truck makes several stops to load and drop off other shipments, transit takes longer than a direct FTL route. If your shipment is time-critical, choose FTL or Express.
Higher damage risk
An LTL shipment may be transferred between trucks at a hub or terminal along the way. Each transfer is one more chance for damage — so industry-standard pallet wrapping and packaging really matter.
